Leaning not to her own understanding but in all her ways acknowledging God
and following the path he has directed for her has been the motto by which
Dezree governs her life by. Accepting the Lord as her personal savior at an
early age she has allowed him to direct her in every area of her life. At
the age of 8, she felt the call of God even though at that age she didn't
know it was a call to teach. Struggling through high school she couldn't
understand how she would teach when she was not too "smart" herself.
However, as she got older she told the Lord if it was his will he would have
to bring it to past.
After graduating from C.H Reeves Secondary School in
1990 she work for one year but was very uncomfortable because she knew the
Lord had a higher calling for her. In the fall of 1992 she entered The
College of the Bahamas to begin a degree in nursing, however this ended
after her first semester. She left nursing to pursue a degree in teaching
and in 1996 she graduated from the College of The Bahamas with an associate
degree and teaching certificate. In 2001, she returned to the classroom to
complete her BA and was successful with the completion of it in 2004.
She has worked very closely with Dynamite Production from 2002 to present
functioning in various roles from production manager to stage actress. She
enjoys working with children and adults who are in pursuit of excellence. Her
life long goal is to change the world for the kingdom of God one life at a
time.
