MEET PASTOR TRENT DAVIS
Born in cold Minniapolis Minasota and raised in Nassau. Trent Davis is a son of the soil that has recently been replanted back into our fair land. The son and grandson of preachers Reverend Davis' journey has taken him both far and near. He began playing the piano at the age of 7 and by the time he was 13 was the church musician. A graduate of Kingsway Academy in 1987 he was in the top ten of his class and also was the Student Government President.

A natural leader, Davis began his college career at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida and there obtained a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then went on to do additional studies in Chemistry at Tennessee State University and then it was on to Dental School at the Howard University School of Dentistry. While there, Davis received from God the call to the Ministry and reenrolled in the School of Divinity to pursue his Masters of Divinity Degree. Having spent the past 15 years in Washington, DC, Davis has worked for the Congressional Black Caucus as an Education advocate on Capital Hill. He also taught in the Public School System with special emphasis on curriculum writing for five years. He still was able to balance his career with his call to Ministry and was call to be Interim Pastor the Gethsemane Baptist Church at the age of 25.

After a few years there he moved on to be an Associate Minister at the Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church, a congregation of 7,000 members under the dynamic leadership of his preaching mentor, Bishop Alfred Owens, Jr. However, it was in the spring of this year that Reverend Davis decided it was time to come home. He has since begun pastoring alongside his father Bishop Ross Davis, at the Golden Gates World Outreach Ministries, where he serves as Pastor of Administration and shares the preaching pulpit with his father. Married to Novia Minus Davis for the past 14 years, Reverend Davis lives his life by the credo: It is better to be a standing follower than a fallen leader. To God be all the Glory.
